Aging In-Place Home Modification Consultation
Remaining in one’s homes is a common goal for many people. Cardinal Care, LLC, offers consultation with our Occupational Therapist for Aging-in-Place and Home Accessibility Assessments. Our consultation focuses on providing recommendations that are specific to both current needs and needs expected in the future. Special consideration is given to specific medical diagnoses and the aging process. Recommendations are oftentimes very simple solutions to problems that have been limiting independence and causing concerns for safety.

How This Advice Can Help YOU!
We have been very pleased with the care our Dad has been receiving from Cardinal Care. In the beginning, owner Amy DePoy spent extensive time talking with us in person, including Dad, to determine what was needed and what type of care would be most beneficial. She had great suggestions for changes that she felt would be beneficial for him, and has continued to help with additional suggestions as time has passed. She and her staff take great care to treat Dad with loving respect, as well as to keep us informed about what they see during their time with him. Amy also takes time to select the best care givers. We're very pleased with his current caregivers. Amy has even jumped in to help when the regular caregiver couldn't be there for their shift. We can't recommend Cardinal Care highly enough!
After my stroke I was afraid I would end up in a nursing home but Cardinal Care made it possible for me to stay here at my farm where I wanted to be. Tim, my Care Partner comes by whenever I need him and we have lots of fun together.
Getting old is NO fun but Amy at Cardinal Care is good at making it easier on gals like me. After I lost my drivers license I did not know how I would get around. That's no problem now!
“Ms. DePoy is a pleasure to work with, arriving on time and completing a thorough walk-thru of our home. She takes the time to go through every detail, making sure we understand. She makes multiple great suggestions and is very caring and understanding. She follows-up with a letter detailing both her observations and recommendations. We enjoyed her collaboration and look forward to working with her again.”
